OUR CROSS-VENTILATED APARTMENTS:
are more EFFICIENT
are more COMFORTABLE
are QUIETER
have ONLY ONE NEIGHBOR PER FLOOR
Cross-ventilated design
At Tuscany Woods and Tuscany Gardens, there are only two apartments
per floor (6 per entrance), and the windows in each apartment are
on OPPOSITE walls.
When a breeze blows through one window, it flows through the apartment
and exits through the opposite window in the same direction it entered.
The result is MORE EFFICIENT movement of air and a MORE COMFORTABLE
living space. In addition, with only one neighbor on your floor,
and only five neighbors in your building, there is LESS TRAFFIC
AND NOISE.

Non-cross-ventilated design
In standard apartments, there are four apartments per floor (12
per entrance), and the windows in each apartment are on ADJACENT
walls.
When the breeze blows through a window, it must turn to exit through
the other window and then turn again in order to follow the direction
of the breeze.
The result is LESS EFFICIENT circulation of air and a LESS COMFORTABLE
living space. Air conditioners and/or fans end up being used more
often to compensate.
